Silvia Mathis is a SAG-AFTRA, Equity-eligible actress whose professional career began at twelve, when she was cast as the only child in a principal role in an all-adult production of Benjamin Britten's Noye's Fludde at The Mendelssohn Club.
She graduated with honors from the High School of Creative and Performing Arts, and received full scholarships to the Children's Theatre Company of Minnesota and the Chicago Conservatory of Music.
Her stage work spans an extraordinary range of leading roles, including Maria in West Side Story, Dina Jones in Dreamgirls, Eva Perón in a celebrated musical review, Helene in Sweet Charity, Hope in Anything Goes, and Luttibelle in Purlie. She has performed principal roles alongside Dan Lauria, Annette O'Toole, Ed Begley Jr., and Phil Morris in Lynn Mamet's A Piece of the Pie.
Her screen work includes a series regular role on The Wright Turn (Tubi), a recurring role on Walker, Texas Ranger (CBS), and film credits including Beautiful Ones Are All Mad, Fred Hammond's: The Choir, and the award-winning Screen Door Jesus and Blueprint, both recognized on the festival circuit.
